MALAYSIA: Doubletree by Hilton KL Gets Halal Cert from Jakim

DoubleTree by Hilton Kuala Lumpur has received Halal certification for its Makan Kitchen restaurant and banquet kitchens.
The Islamic Development Department Malaysia (JAKIM) awarded the certification after an on-site inspection, evaluation and recommendation on Halal compliance.
DoubleTree by Hilton Kuala Lumpur General Manager Ian Barrow said: "The certification is a form of social obligation and will help to boost the trust and confidence of our Muslim guests while dining with us.
"This initiative also benefits all guests as it covers not only religious requirements but also encourages strict hygiene practices and food safety," he said in a statement today.
DoubleTree by Hilton Kuala Lumpur is located at the intersection of Jalan Ampang and Jalan Tun Razak crossing in the renowned Embassy Row.
Makan Kitchen is the hotel's signature restaurant with 350 seats.
DoubleTree by Hilton Kuala Lumpur also offers banqueting facilities at its Grand Ballroom which has a maximum capacity of 1,300 guests and nine meeting rooms.
